Heather Xiao is the founder and CEO of Horizon Zero, a research and advisory partner helping UK and international businesses to strategise and connect with open banking, open finance and smart data ecosystem, and create new business models, innovative products and partnerships to succeed.
She is passionate in the industry mission of unleashing data unification through open banking, open finance and smart data, which she believes will massively transform our personal and business lives. Over the past decade she had the exciting opportunities to champion and deliver open banking, smart data and related open "X" initiatives in the financial services, aviation and management consulting industries in the UK and Australia. This has helped her with her understanding of the open 'X' ecosystem, and the comparable opportunities and challenges across different business sectors and jurisdictions.
